Let me guess. Your a student in a Criminal Justice program and you want someone to fill you in on how the police, courts and department of corrections work together? Pretty good guess huh? A detailed answer would take thousands of hours of typing. A short answer would be that the poice investigate and arrest, the courts are where those arrests are ajudicated and corrections are where people that are sentenced to jail serve their time. What does your text book say?
