Legal Question in Criminal Law in South Carolina
I live in the state of South Carolina I'm on probation and my girlfriend falsely accused me of cdv. I asked for a jury trail and since she moved and no one knows where I think I will be wrongfully convicted. what will actually happen to me if she doesn't shows up.
1 Answer from Attorneys
Its impossible to say without knowing more, especially the allegations of your case. An attorney would need to gather information about witnesses, injuries, your record, who called the police, what evidence there is, etc. In all liklihood and attorney would make a motion to have the case dismissed or the solicitor might dismiss it. But do not count on that happening. You need an attorney. My practice is in the Myrtle Beach area of Horry County and I also practice in all SC counties. Your welcome to call for advise. I don't charge for that.
