What happens if you lose your job and cant make payments you owe for an old arrest.

What payments? To the probation department? To the court? To a victim? Its hard to answer your question without more information. You might consider contacting who it is you owe and explain the problem. Many people will work with you if you just talk to them. What most people can't stand is to be ignored.
