if someone is arrested for weed cuz they did not know who it belonged to will they drop the charges once the person it belong to confesses?

They can drop the charges, but seldom do. It all depends on where the pot was found and other facts. It would have to be perfectly clear that the person knew nothing about it. Its hard to answer your question without knowing the whole situation including where the drug was found. [email protected]
