Legal Question in Criminal Law in South Carolina

Marijuana and Paraphanelia Possesion

Two months ago I was charged with marijuana possesion and posponed it to trial by jury, but still had the option of doing PTI. Two weeks ago I got possesion of drug paraphanelia and the officer put me in PTI. These were in two different counties. I have to do PTI for the second charge and was wondering if maybe I could do PTI in both counties and they would not find out about the other one. I do not have a SLED record by the way so technically since I was just ticketed and not taken to jail.

Its doubtful that you could do that. You have to fill out forms that state you have no other arrests and you do. They also may have a state-wide date bank. Ask if Alcohol Diverson is available. They now let some marijuana cases into it.
