Misdemeanor warrants in SC

I currently have active warrants for shoplifting (6 pack beer), open container, ''lending a license to another'' and public intoxication. I had life threatening circumstances that forced me to leave SC before going to court. I would like to pay any fines and have this warrant cleared or have imposement of a lien while I pay the fines. I do not know if all charges are being prosecuted, only that a non-extraditable warrant is pending and it is causing me trouble. I left a $10 bill for the beer but it was Sunday and sale of beer was not allowed. The charges were all a result of being an accomplise and not comitted directly by me. This occurred over 5 years ago. Can I work this out through the clerk of court or will I need a lawyer? Thank you

You can always try calling the Clerk of Court. It can't hurt. Its only a phone call. Since you have active warrants they may require you to come to SC and turn yourself in. If so, you should have an attorney. My firm is in Horry County if you need help.
