Legal Question in Criminal Law in South Carolina
mistakenly not ticketed
I was at a party where underage
drinking was present and the police
busted it. i had been drinking but i
never said i was drunk and i never
gave the police an ID. i was not
ticketed. My mom picked me up and
that was that.
Could the police charge me now if
someone gave my name to them?
the police were taking pictures, could
they charge me now using the
pictures?

Re: mistakenly not ticketed
They could, but its unlikely. Under aged drinking is not the most serious crime in the world and quite frankly, the police have bigger and more serious matters to tend to. You could be ticketed after the fact, but chances are you won't. That is just a guess you understand.
