Legal Question in Criminal Law in South Carolina

murder

mr pete williams id #0566144 was in a car with his 2 best friends. the was comming from a party and pete did not have a licence. he drove because they was comming from a party and did not have a better driver not really drunk. the cop tried to stop. pete did not stop, he was scared. the cop hit the back of his car to make hem stop. the boys did not have a seat belt so they died. he was charge with one murder in the second degree. if he did not agree to that they said he will get life instead he got 18 years 9 months. is that right? he never had a trial so is it worth us going to court?

I'm afraid that I don't understand your question. Maybe you can email me with more information. What you have said is that the cop ran into the back of the car, two people died, and he was charged with murder. Based on the facts that you have given me, that is not murder. Are you sure that murder was the charge? Also, you said that he was charged with murder in the second degree. SC does not have second degree murder. It looks like you have some incorrect information.
