If a person is convicted of a felony without receiving an arrest warrant or a copy of the indictment can you remedy being convicted of the crime that you never was notified you were charged with?

Re: notification of charges

There is recourse, but its hard to advise without knowing more about what happened. Was there a trial? Was there a reason for not being served with a warrant or indictment; such as the police not know where you were? When was the arrest and when was the conviction? As much information as possible would probably enable me to advise. [email protected] Robert Johnston
