Pedophiles

If someone has confessed to contributing to the delinquency of a minor, but hasn't been to court yet, will they more than likely have to register as a sex offender once the case goes to court? This person not only admitted to sending sexually explicit messages to a 17 year, but he did spend the night in jail.

If the charge is Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor, they more than likely will not have to register as a sex offender.
