pending warrents

i have this freind who is currently severing a 6 year sentence with no chance of parole. my question is his mother obtained warrents that were not served on him at the time of his trial, she is wondering if she files these warrents with the court will it make his sentence time go up or will they sentence him with those warrents after his release, we have both look around but have not been able to come up with any answers, if you could give me an an answer to this I thank you

Re: pending warrents

I don't understand your question. Why would you want to do something that might add time to his sentence? The first thing you need to do is find out if the warrants are still valid. Its possible that they were dismissed as part of a plea process.
