should I take the plea

I was transporting a friend to the store. He went in to use the phone and came out, according to the local police, he robbed the store. Later, we were both charged with robbery. He plead guilty and received a 15 yr. sentence. I was offered a YOA 1-4 but I refused because I did not rob anyone. He has said that I knew about the robbery and people are saying that it is his word against mine. They say I should take the plea, even my attorney but I know I am innocent. I do not want to take the plea because I want to go into the military and this will stop all chances.
