Legal Question in Criminal Law in South Carolina
Posession of Drug Paraphanaleia
I received a fine for $1088 and have to go to court soon. Do I have any other options besides paying the fine? Also, the officer is attempting to have me give him names of ''people'' that I know and the fine will go away. Can anyone give me some advice?

Your options are to pay the fine, go to trial or possibly Pre Trial Intervention depending on your record. As far as the police helping you if you give them names, you need to be careful about that as there are serious pitfalls in such an arrangement. You are welcome to call or write. [email protected]
