Legal Question in Criminal Law in South Carolina

Prayer For Judgement?

My fiance is incarcerated for Criminal Domestic Violence of a High and Aggravated nature. His prelim is Oct. 18 and his court date is Nov. 8th, 2005. This is his first offense of any type of CDV. I have been told about something called ''Prayer for Judgement'' that can be used once in a person's lifetime when facing criminal charges, to claim in court and get only probation instead of jail time. Where can I find information on it? What are the requirements? Are there exclusions to being able to use it? Is there a timeframe or certain things a person Shouldn't do in order to be able to use it? Please send any available information to me ASAP at [email protected]

Thank you

Re: Prayer For Judgement?

There is no Prayer for Judgment in South Carolina.

There are sometimes other alternatives. Is his case in this state (SC) or another state?
