Legal Question in Criminal Law in South Carolina
If proven innocent for a crime that you did not do, because the witness could not identify you. How long would it take the jail to recieve the papers? And would you be release right away without paying bail?

I'm sorry, but I don't understand the questions. You said that a person has been proven innocent. But at the same time you said the person is still in jail. The first sentence makes me believe there was a trial and he was found not guilty. If so, then why is he still in jail?
The other part I don't understand, is where you asked how long it would take the paperwork to get to the jail. What paperwork are you refferring to?
As far as being release without bail, that would depend whether the charge(s) were dismissed or not. If not, the only wasy to ge released without paying bail, is if the bail abount was a PR Bond. Thtat stands for a Personal Recognizance bond, which basically means that the judge beleives that you wil return to courrt and its not necessary for you to post money for bail.
