Legal Question in Criminal Law in South Carolina
PWID Marijuania 1rst Offense
I was recently arrested for PWID for 10.6 grams of Marijuania (They also found a scale)This was all for personal use, and I was wondering what I could expect. Also If I am offered PTI, would taking it make me guilty.

I can't tell you what to expect unless I had a whole lot more information, such as how strong the evidence is, possible defenses, your records, etc. Generally I like to review at least the warrant. As far as PTI, no that does not make you guilty. If a person completes PTI, then the arrest record is destroyed. However, the more serious the charge is the less liklely they will offer PTI. It is possible that you could get it, but PWID is a serious charge and they might not offer it.
