Legal Question in Criminal Law in South Carolina
Rape
I just learned that my daughter was raped 9 years ago by someone I was living with.That nite the man stole my car and took off with my daughter. I had police looking for them from 10pm untill 6am the next morn. he was out all nite with my child smoking crack. he was aressted on drug charges. she wouldnt tell if he had done anything to her. This has caused alot of problems for her . I always new it but she wouldnt say. Dr examine proves that somthing did happen but she was affraid to tell. She is now 18 and has finaly told me. What can I do. Please help me. He needs to be put away he is in the system and I dont want him to do this to someone elses daughter.

Contact the county Solicitor's Office. They are the county prosecutors and can initiate an investigation which can lead to an arrest. It is their job to look into matter such as this.
