I have just received my first simple possession charge in SC. Ive heard they no longer suspend you're license for this charge. Is that true?

Yes. There is also a way of not only saving your driver's license, but getting it off your record as well. This depends on what sort of criminal record you have. With these charges there are several ways of handling it.
