Legal Question in Criminal Law in South Carolina

my rights

last year in april i was arrested for simple poss. of marijuana and minor poss of beer in south carolina and my rights was not read to me. on my tickit i didnt have to appear for court. now my nc driver license is revoked. was my right soposed to be read to me. if so is it to late to say anything, if it is not who do i need to contact? thank you

Television movies distort what peoples "rights" are. You are referring to Miranda Warnings. The police do not have to read you your rights unless they intend to use something that you say to them in court against you.
