Legal Question in Criminal Law in South Carolina

sc marijuana laws

I was pulled over for speeding in Greenville Sc and didnt get a speeding ticket but did end up with a ticket for posession.Will this go on my permanent record? Is there any first offender laws there?I live in Al so its not easy for me to get answers.What may I expect to happen? Any suggestions???

If it is first offense of Possession of Marijauna, then you would probably qualify for Pre Trial Intervention which is a program that once completed results in the arrest record being expunged.
