What are the terms and conditions for a sentence reconsideration?

Re: sentence reconsideration

Your refering to a Motion for Reconideration. It is usually done in writing and is done within 10 days of sentencing. It where an explanation is given to the judge as to why the sentence should be different. It usually done by the defense attorney asking for a lighter sentence. It can be based on any grounds as long as its reasonable.
