Legal Question in Criminal Law in South Carolina
sex offender registery
i was wondering how i would go about getting a copy of the sex offender laws in south carolina. i am planning to move there in 2007 and i will be takeing a family member with me who in M.A. is a registered sex offender. we would like to know before we move just what we will need to do when we get to the area. how do i get a copy of the laws?

Your family member is required to register in SC so he can contact the sheriff in the county he is moving to and they will tell him everything he needs to know. Here is where you can read the law.
