what's simple assault and it's penalty?
My son is 17. He will be 18 Nov 10. He and another boy was threating each other on school property and was taken in custody and charge with simple assault. What does this mean in terms of penalty and what does this mean?

Assault if threatening someone. Can't tell you the penalty unless I know if your son was charged as an adult
