Legal Question in Criminal Law in South Carolina

My situation

When I was 19 I got a ticket for public disorder and fake id.. Wrote an essay to get the public disorder dropped, but officer did not drop the fake id so I had to take ADP to clear it.

At 20 (On the night of my 21st birthday) I am walking downtown at 11:40PM (turn 21 at 12) and a cop stops me and I drop a empty bottle.. He takes my wallet and gives me a minor in possession of beer and fake id charge. Gave me two tickets and let me keep walking downtown. USPD cop

While I wait for court, walking home I ask a officer a question and the cop slams me against the wall (causing bruises and cuts) and arrests me for interrupting an officer and drunkenness. Taken to jail. City of Columbia Cop

Now I have 2 different court cases pending. What are my options?

Re: My situation

Your first option is to retain an attorney. Your too young to have those criminal convictions. Second, you probably qualify for Pre-Trial Intervention which is a nice way to avoid court and prosecution and have your criminal record expunged. You also have the option of going to trial and pleading guilty. Your welcome to call or write if you have any other quesions. My firm does criminal defense state-wide. Robert Johnston
