Statue of limitations

What is the statue for a theft that happen in 1999 and the warrent was just served in late 2006 for a $1500 of a camera. or any place to look for this info would be great.

Its hard to say. You didn't provide enough information. There are various theft statutes; such as Breach of Trust, Larceny, Embezzlement, etc. You can always do an Internet search for the South Carolina Code of Laws and look there. Most crimes are under Title 16.
