I recently had a check that was written out to me from a retirement acct stolen in the mail and cashed in nc. How can I recover whats mine? It was cashed at a bank their.

If it was made out to you, then someone must have forged it and the bank is probably liable to whoever issued the check. Contact the issuer of the check and ask they look into it for you.
