Subpeona

What happens if a subpeona can't be served before the court date? My friend has to go to court for CDV,They are trying to serve me with a subpeona. It wouldn't do him any good if I was there.What can they do if the can't serve me? To me and him.

Its a little hard to answer your question because you didn't give enough details. It would be helpful to know if your friend is a defendant, victim or witness. Same with you. I assume that your friend is the defendant and he is avoiding the subpoena. If so, then they can seek a warrant for his arrest. It won't do anyone any good to avoid a subpoena.
