What is a subpoena? What if they can not reach you to serve you a subpoena?

Re: Subpoena

A Subpoena orders someone to be somewhere. Usually its court, but it could be for something else like a deposition. Without seeing the Subpoena and knowing what its for, and whether you are a witness or a defendant, I cannot tell you what happens if you are not served with it. Obviously you have notice of it so I would not ignore it. That could cause serious problems. I would contact an attorney or at least contact the people that sent it.
