Having a trial postponed to a later date.

Can a person have their trial postponed to another date if their trial is scheduled to begin in two days.

Two days from what? The longer a case gets the less likely a judge will grant a continuance. The more continuances a person has reqested the less likey he/she will grant one. I have no idea what type of case you have, how old it is,and or what purpose you want the continuace. You can always ask.
