Legal Question in Criminal Law in South Carolina

urgent running out of time

I wanted to get PTI, but my lawyer said that I can't. Now it turns out that I probably could of. But at the time he told me to say guilty. Now there is more than just that he failed to do with telling me about stuff, or not doing more then he said he could. Because he said that he couldn't do nothing and to just say guilty to this or may get something worse. so it was burgerly in the 3rd and they gave me 3yrs probation 50hr comm. service 267 restitution ect. so i want to know is there a way to appial and try for PTI now before 10 days are up. Then beable to do nothing, or at least less.

You understand it right. You have a certain time to appeal a guilty plea. However, I cannot tell you if that is a wise thing to do or not since I know nothing about the facts of your case. Also, there is never any guarantee of PTI. Good luck.
