Legal Question in Criminal Law in South Carolina
If I had written a check for 17.99 July 12th of 2010, and didn't know that it bounced until July 12th 2011, should I have to pay all the fees they are trying to make me pay which comes up to be almost 200.00? They never contacted me to let me know about the check or I would have paid it then.

Yes. You are obligated to pay the fees. Your contract with the bank certainly will state so.
