Legal Question in DUI Law in South Carolina

dui in another state

My 19 year-old son was arrested for dui in SC (we are from TN) with a .2 (first offense). His bail was $1200 and our court date is in late July. What are our chances for just paying an additional fine versus his spending more time in jail.

The chances of keeping him out of jail on a DUI First Offense is generally very good. Where did he get the DUI?
