What is it called when both parties would file for an appeal at the same time

In all honesty, I don't know. I also don't know if there is or is not a term for that situation. I'm sorry, but I have just not come across that question. If its extremely important you can try looking at on-line legal dictionarys or even possibly contact one of the appellate courts. They should be able to tell you. Good luck.
