Legal Question in DUI Law in South Carolina

is it to late to get an attorney to help get my boyfriends sentence suspended or taken off he was caught DUS 3 and DUI got 120 days and he's been in there for 5 days can i get an attorney and perhaps get him out and get it reduced to a second offense? or is it to late to try that?

I'm afraid that number one, by the time you got anything done he would have been done with his sentence, and two, I don't know if he lost a trial or plead guilty, so I don't know what sort of legal challenge could be made.
