Minor in possesion ticket in other state than license

I have a Georgia drivers license. I attend a college in South Carolina. I was given a minor in possesion of liquor ticket. SC code 20-7-8925. If I go to court and pay my fine will it go on my record even though I have an out of state license.

It probably will. Its actually a criminal offense. Therefore, it will most likely go into the NCIC (National Criminal Information Center). Which believe it or not, will mean that you have a criminal record. Has anyone talked with you about PTI? Its a program where you can do community service, pay a small fee and have the record expundged (record destroyed). I would look into that if I was you. Robert Johnston 828-843-1137
