Legal Question in DUI Law in South Carolina

my wife received a DWI (.157) in Ouachita Parish, LA last weekend. We live in SC, and would like to plea for an article 894. she had a pre-trial intervention in 2002 for POSS CDS (ULTRAM). Would this still be a possibility? any other suggestions would help also. Driving record is clean otherwise.

thank you,

John

Whatever an "article 894" is, would be a law that applies to Louisiana, not South Carolina. Since your wife has a Louisiana legal problem, you need to consult with an attorney who practices in and knows Louisiana law. If you wife got a speeding ticket in Russia, wouldn't she want to consult with an attorney from Russia? Lol. Seriously, do an Internet search for criminal/traffic lawyers in that parrish and get some advise. I wish you well.
