Legal Question in Family Law in South Carolina
18 and out of the house
My ex has custody of my daughter who turned 18 on Nov. of 2004. She will graduate from high school in May of 2005.
She has moved out of his house and is living with a girlfriend and her parents. I want to send her the child support money, instead of giving it to her father.
How do I go about doing this without having to pay an attorney? Funds are tight.

Re: 18 and out of the house
You would need to pay the support as dictated by the divorce/custody decree. If you are no longer required to pay support, you can give money to your daughter as you wish, of course.
