What are the differences between & circumstances for a marriage annulment or divorce?

Marriage annulment only is proper in South Carolina when the marraiage has not been consumated (completed by sexual intercourse) by the husband and wife. This situation rarely arises.
As to divorce there are four fazult grounds for divorcxe in South Carolina; they are 1. adultery; 2. desertion for a period of one year; 3. physical cruelty; and 4. habitual alcoholism or drug abuse.
