Can I have the babys name changed to mine?

I would like to know if it is possible to give my son my last name if the mother and I was never married. She left me and during this time she changed her mind and named him something else besides what we agreed upon before she was pregnant. I would also like to know of any cases where this was awarded in SC if it has been. Thanks for your help

name change for a minor require the consent of both parties, among other things. So, please talk with an attorney in your area for additional information.
