Legal Question in Family Law in South Carolina

child custody

In my court order is states that we are not to expose the minor child to pornography and my 5 year old daughter recently walked in on my husband using the bathroom and her father is trying to say that i am exposing her to pornography. Can he have me charged with contempt for that?

Re: child custody

It is very unlikely that a judge (or any reasonable person) would determine that what you describe is pornography. That is not to say that he can't file a contempt action, but you can (and should) vigorously defend yourself if he does.

If you need more information, you can visit my family law blog (www.SCFamilyLaw.com) or our website (www.StevensFirm.com). I wish you the best of luck.
