My ex-husband and I have a 15 year old special needs child together I have full and sole custody of her. He pays child support. We have been divorced for 7 years and he hasn't seen her 7 times now he wants to see her. I have reservations. What can I do?

Re: child custody
If he was granted visitation previously, then he still has the right to exercise that now. If you don't think that he should visit, then you can bring an action seeking to modify it. If he wasn't, then you can refuse and force him to file an action seeking visitation. The Court would then determine whether the visitation is in the child's best interest.
These are complex issues, and it is important that they be handled correctly. Therefore, it is important that you consult an experienced family law attorney to find out what options are available to you based on the facts of your particular case.
