This is a very open-ended question that is virtually impossible to answer in this forum. Basically, you have the rights/obligations to custody, visitation, support, etc. of this child, until and unless the Court says differently. The child's father is in a very similar position, with a few minor exceptions.

These are complex issues, and it is important that they be handled correctly. Therefore, it is important that you consult an experienced family law attorney to find out what options are available to you based on the facts of your particular case.
