Legal Question in Family Law in South Carolina
child custody
Does South Carolina have a law like Georgia where there cannot be any custody disputes until 2 years have elapsed from the final divorce decree?

Re: child custody
In SC, there is no such time limit / requirement. Here, you must prove that there has been a significant change in circumstances since the parties were last before the Court.
These are complex issues, and it is important that they be handled correctly. Therefore, it is important that you consult an experienced family law attorney to find out what options are available to you based on the facts of your particular case.
