Legal Question in Family Law in South Carolina

child custody and child support

my son's father has full custody of my son, but i was not present for the hearing, due to being incarcerated. i never received notice of the hearing or of the support order until a few days ago. I was mailed a letter stating that I am $4600 in the rears. I need to know what I can do legally about this and gain custody of my son. The case is in Franklin County Missouri, but I live in South Carolina.

Re: child custody and child support

You need to contact an attorney in Missouri to discuss your options, and you need to do so a.s.a.p. If you need more information, you can visit my family law blog (www.SCFamilyLaw.com) or our website (www.StevensFirm.com). I wish you the best of luck.
