Child endangerment
My 40 year old husband has been texting and talking to a 14 year old girl. He says she just needs a friend. I think this looks bad and she has a crush on him. Should I worry.

This is really an issue that you should discuss with a counselor. It certainly sounds suspicious to me.
I might also suggest that you let the child's parents know that a 40 year old man is talking with their daughter so that they can take the necessary precautions.
