child support

if my child is 18 and her father stopped child support at 12 months old, he disappeared we could not get a support order, now they are saying that they found him and it is too late for child support what can i do. we have tried numerous times through the state, over the years to catch him. they always said they needed a social security number in order to find him

If he was not ordered to pay child support back then, there is nothing that you can do now. If he was ordered to pay then and you have only recently located him, then you can pursue the back support owed.
