Legal Question in Family Law in South Carolina
Child Support and visitation
The father of my 7 month old son is living with his girlfriend.I got pregnant while he was living with her.As long as she knew about the affair she has been harrassing me and showing up to my house.I've had to call the police on her and got a police report for harrassment but my other calls were for phone harrassment and I couldn't prove it.She has done a lot of crazy things. In a few weeks, the father and I are going to court for child support and I don't feel safe with this woman around my son.My question is is there anything I can do to stop him from taking my son around her?

Re: Child Support and visitation
If you can prove that she poses some sort of threat or danger to the child, the Family Court will issue a Restraining Order preventing him from having the child around her. Of course, the burden is on you to prove it.
