Child support/recently moved
My son is 21yrs and owes child support 25000. The child was born when he was still in high school. Whenbecame 18 and got a job is was order to pay 125. A week. He did pay but the judge never gave him a break when he wasnt working. She keep the rate the same this is why is in some much debt. He has not collect a tax return in 2yr because of it and can not have anything in his name. The child was with him while he was out work and i was watching the child after school to help with babysitter fees. This child has everything. The mom does not work and is collecting walfare. My son had to go to court just to have to child put in a speacial school,becauses he is slow. What legal advice can you give me to try help my son who is a great dad and frustated that he cant get on his feet. He has partial custody of his son. The mom use the court against him when she doesnt get her way. Even the child school has aknowlegde that his a great father. The judges in nyc dont seem to care that a man can be a the better parent than the women. The young women has no parents and comes from a low income area.Not putting her down, but she has no help besides my son and his family. She has clearly stated she just had the baby so she could get money. Help

If the circumstances have significantly changed since the child support was established, he can seek a recalculation. If he believes that the child would be better off with him, he can also seek custody for himself.
