Legal Question in Family Law in South Carolina
child visitation
My divorce decree/child visitation paper says My ex husband must provide me with a certified letter on or before may 15 of the dates that he will be getting my son for the summer (4 weeks). He did not do that this year. Will I be in contempt of court if I do not allow any visitation( the 4 weeks)?

Re: child visitation
If he does not abide by the terms of the Order and fails to provide his choice of weeks to you by the specified date, most judges would still allow him to have some visitation weeks, provided they don't conflict with anything you have scheduled. If you deny him all summer visitation without good reason, you could possibly find yourself facing a contempt charge. Good luck.
