College Child Support

Do you still have to pay child support after the age of 18 if your child goes to college if it states in the divorce papers it stops at the age of 18?

Re: College Child Support

Unless the Order specifies that child support continues past the age of 18, then it stops at that point. College support is a separate issue and is analyzed differently than "regular" child support.

These are complex issues, and it is important that they be handled correctly. Therefore, it is important that you consult an experienced family law attorney to find out what options are available to you based on the facts of your particular case.
